Scientific Name: Neoscona crucifera

Size: 4.5 – 15 mm

Gender: Male

There are three species of Neoscona in our area. N. crucifera is the most common of the three and, in my experience, the most commonly encountered of all the orb weavers in O.C. Adult males are usually observed in the web of females.
